ChartLogic customers explain the company's efforts to ensure Eligible Professionals become meaningful users:
"The doctor was very happy, and it didn't take a lot for the practice to meet requirements with ChartLogic EMR. I was nervous at first, but with the help ChartLogic provided we were able to achieve meaningful use and receive our $18,000 check very quickly."
– Debbie Wolf, Practice Administrator, West LA Hand Center
"ChartLogic has been very responsive to our needs throughout the meaningful use preparatory process. With help from them, we have set up our practice to capture the needed information."
– Brenda Willet, Practice Manager, Ozark Mountain ENT

Having a good EHR system is one of the most important ways a doctor can ensure that his or her practice will thrive during the healthcare IT movement. In February 2009, President Obama passed the stimulus bill, which included the requirement that doctors adopt and implement electronic medical records software by 2015. By using EMR, physicians can save time and money, get rid of the endless amounts of paper used in the office, and reduce medical errors, ensuring a more satisfying experience for themselves as well as for the patients.
To help carry out EHR adoption, the government has set aside $27 billion in incentive money to be distributed through Medicare and Medicaid. Physicians must prove that they are demonstrating meaningful use of a certified EHR technology before receiving funds, however. Over the space of five years, doctors can receive up to $44,000 through Medicare and up to $63,750 through Medicaid.
Meaningful Use is not something that can be accomplished in a day though, which is why it is vitally important to choose a good EHR that is certified. ChartLogic was the very first in the nation to receive Complete Ambulatory EHR certification, and as such has some of the best healthcare technology out there. Brad Melis, founder and executive VP of ChartLogic, has said, "Achieving immediate EHR certification is a validation of our technology and our leadership position in the healthcare industry. Meaningful use wasn't designed to make things easy for physicians and we have stayed true to our reputation of providing physicians with user-friendly technology that makes meaningful use achievable."
Because of its extensive knowledge of healthcare information technology and its experience with working with doctors, ChartLogic is the best in the business when it comes to implementing usable software while meeting meaningful use requirements.
