Zubin Emsley, Chief Executive OfficerChartLogic CEO Zubin Emsley has a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Delaware and a master's degree in engineering from Cornell University. Zubin spent his career working in the U.S. aerospace industry. He spent 11 years in Seattle, Washington, working for The Boeing Company, followed by 27 years at Boulder, Colo.-based Ball Aerospace. At Boeing, Zubin worked on projects involving the Hubble space telescope and developing scientific satellites. At Ball Aerospace, Zubin worked on a number of significant projects, including building research satellites primarily for NASA and dividing his time and focus among the key areas of technology, program, and business development management. Zubin left Ball Aerospace in 2006 to pursue other opportunities before accepting the role of chief executive officer of ChartLogic in 2007. |

Bradford Melis, Founder and Executive Vice PresidentBrad Melis founded the company now known as ChartLogic in 1994. During that time he has served as president and chief executive officer of the organization and has been responsible for all operational areas of the company. Brad brings 25 years of health care experience to the organization. He is also the chief architect of ChartLogic and possesses extensive experience in health care information technology. Prior to creating ChartLogic, Brad served as the sales and marketing manager for ODIN Engineering for three years. He was instrumental in developing the strategic sales and marketing plans for the ODIN product, which developed an early entry into the electronic medical records marketplace. The prior seven years were spent as president and chief executive officer of ProData Systems, a medical software firm involved in the development, sales and support of physician office billing, scheduling and electronic claims processing software. Over several years, Brad grew ProData from an early-stage medical software company into a firm that ultimately serviced 150-plus installations of the product. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. |

James W. Strickland, M.D., Chief Medical OfficerDr. Strickland is a Clinical Professor of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine and serves on the Board of Directors of the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation. He is Past President of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and the Foundation for Hand Surgical Research and Education, and has served on the Executive Committee of the Academic Orthopaedic Society. In 1996, Dr. Strickland received the St. Vincent Hospital's First Distinguished Physician Award. Selected by his colleagues and peers, he was awarded for his outstanding patient care, his dedication to St. Vincent Hospital and for the contributions he has made to medicine on a regional, national and international level. He also received the Humanitarian Award and the Volunteer of the Year award from the Arthritis Foundation, Indiana Chapter in 2002. Dr. Strickland graduated from Indiana University in 1958 and in 1962 received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. In 1969, he held a fellowship in Hand Surgery at Passavant Hospital, Northwestern University. From 1966 to 1968, he served as Captain in the United States Air Force-Medical Corps and also was the Chief Orthopaedic Surgeon at Ellsworth AFB, Rapid City, South Dakota. |

Rita Schaefer, Chief Financial OfficerRita Schaefer joined ChartLogic, Inc. in September 2000. Schaefer's career is comprised of 18 years in the healthcare industry; working both for HIT companies and directly with physicians practicing medicine. Prior to joining ChartLogic, Schaefer served as Controller for three successful, Utah-based corporations. With her consulting business, she managed physician practices where she developed and implemented an office-site accounting and financial management solution for sole-physician providers and large-clinic practices. As Chief Financial Officer, Schaefer is responsible for ChartLogic financial and planning strategy, and accounting practices. |

Bob Dean, Vice President of TechnologyBob Dean serves as Vice President of Technology, overseeing Development, Information Systems and Information Technology. Bob has over 23 years experience in the Information Technology industry. He has designed and implemented some of the largest and most robust network infrastructures in the world. Bob has over 35 industry certifications with a specialty in redundant systems and network infrastructures. He has received numerous industry awards for excellence and achievement including network and datacenter design. He has degrees in Electronic Technology, Microcomputer Technology, and Business Management. Bob has worked for numerous companies as a consultant, engineer and Director before joining ChartLogic Inc. in Nov. of 2004. |

Chris Langehaug, Vice President of OperationsChris Langehaug serves as Vice President of Operations, overseeing all client services. He has designed, implemented, and continues to improve ChartLogic product implementation and customer service procedures and has maintained one of the highest adoption and retention rates in the industry. With over 10 years in operations and service positions and having implemented well over 100 separate medical practices, Langehaug brings valuable expertise to ChartLogic that ensures world-class service to all customers. Prior to joining ChartLogic Inc. he served eight years as a U.S. Army Ranger, Jungle Warfare Instructor, and in the Special Forces, planning and executing missions worldwide. |

Darren Gibson, Director of SalesAs Director of ChartLogic Sales, Darren Gibson is responsible for growing the demand and increasing sales for the ChartLogic product lines. He joined the ChartLogic team in 2001 and established the CL consultative team selling model. Gibson's previous sales management experience consists of positions at technology and medical service firms such as Quest Diagnostics, Inc., Asante Technologies, Connectronix Corporation, AMX International, and Racore Technologies. He has also owned several successful companies including the largest Insurance Agency in Northern Utah and a nationwide website development company. Gibson brings over 20 years successful sales and sales management experience to ChartLogic. |

Eric Sorenson, Director of MarketingEric Sorenson serves as Director of Marketing and joined the ChartLogic team in May 2006. Prior to joining ChartLogic Inc. Sorenson worked for McKesson Healthcare (formerly NDCHealth), Misys Healthcare and Henry Schein and brings 10 years of management experience in customer support, training, development, and marketing in the Health Information Technology industry. He also brings experience in the consulting industry, having created his own Health IT consulting company. Sorenson studied Business Administration and Marketing at the University of Utah, and is currently working towards a Masters of Business Administration at the University of Phoenix. |

Daryl Babcock, Director of DevelopmentChartLogic Director of Development Daryl Babcock has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Utah. He joined ChartLogic in 2005 and was the lead developer for the ChartLogic application before taking the Director of Development position. Babcock has 30 years software development experience and prior to joining ChartLogic Inc. worked for Packard Bell Electronics and Black Diamond, Inc. As a business owner, Babcock started and managed TechFix, where he provided hardware and technical networking support in addition to writing custom software for such companies as Kennecott Copper (Rio Tinto), Del Sol, Premium Oil Company, Challis Idaho Water District, Candle Charts and WinOne. |

Pier Calacino, Director of Administration and QualityPier has more than 25 years of combined experience in manufacturing, and quality assurance. As director of quality assurance at ChartLogic, Pier implements the EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System throughout the company. Prior to joining ChartLogic, Pier was the quality assurance manager at Bausch & Lomb-formerly Orbtek, a maker of state-of-the-art ophthalmic topography measurement devices-where he was responsible for the overall quality and production operation of the company. Pier co-implemented FDA cGMP-approved company quality systems and obtained ISO 9001 and CE approval among other accomplishments including creating tests protocols for product validations and planning and scheduling manufacturing per marketing forecasts. Pier worked in quality assurance at American Laser Corporation, a manufacturer of ion gas lasers and power supplies, for 13 years, and at Kaman Instrumentation Corporation, a manufacturer of digital radiation monitoring equipment for nuclear power plants, for four years. Pier obtained an associate of applied science and electronic technology at the Utah Technical College at Salt Lake City in 1983. |
