ChartLogic EMR | Referral Reply Letter

There is no better way to market the practice to referring physicians than by providing a quick patient outcome report. A referral reply letter is the most effective tool to do so.

Some clinics send the referring provider a unique letter that they have spent time transcribing or typing for each patient referred. Some clinics don't send a referral reply letter, while others send an entire chart.

ChartLogic EMR overcomes this issue with our Referral Reply Letter module. As the medical provider is completing their exam within the electronic medical records software, they can click a button or Say "Referral Reply Letter". This will open the module and then allows the user to select the appropriate referring physician for this patient (from the medical practice management system), and print or fax the letter from within the EMR software. The letter template can include standard letter text, and includes smart fields such as the patient's name, date of birth, diagnosis, treatment plan, prescriptions, and many other electronic health record fields. Additionally, the provider can include the patient's entire encounter note and documents such as imaging or lab results. This automates the process of referral responses, and markets the practice as an effective and efficient practice at the same time.
