ChartLogic iAchieve EHR includes ChartShareMD, which allows you to share a patient's electronic health record easily with any other clinician, regardless of location or the receiving physician's electronic medical records software and medical practice management software. This shared access is HIPAA compliant and is protected at all times. No additional charges are incurred for this service.
Clients decide the access perameters such as:
- Who has access
- Duration of access
- What they are able to review
The third party clinicians can electronically read the original charts, documents, or images. They can offer consultation notes, but they are unable to change or alter the original data. All data entered becomes identified as a consult and becomes part of the electronic medical record. Existing clients use this capability for hospital admits, emergency room consults and for activities such as reviewing sleep study results by contracted physicians and third party radiology reviews in the US and overseas.
