For consideration in the FrontRunner EMR report, the healthcare product needed to have a minimum of 20 user reviews published in the last 18 months across three Gartner Digital Markets web properties (softwareadvice.com, capterra.com, or getapp.com). The minimum qualifying score for enterprise vendors was 3.51 for usability and 3.5 for user recommended, while small vendors required a 3.21 for usability and a 3.25 for user recommended—products with a score less than 3.0 in either category were not considered. Software Advice then plotted 10 to 15 products on both small vendor and enterprise vendor graphics (based on vendor size), with more than 240 EHR products being evaluated for the report.
The total score for each product is based on the usability score plus the user recommendation score. ChartLogic received an overall rating of 7.14 out of 10 with a usability score of 3.54 and a user recommendation score of 3.6.
