SALT LAKE CITY–ChartLogic is ranked as one of the top 20 practice management and revenue cycle management ambulatory electronic health record vendors in a new Black Book Rankings™ survey of physician practices.

ChartLogic was ranked 18th out of 20 overall among ambulatory EHR vendors who were graded in the survey. The new Black Book rankings are based upon a series of surveys conducted among 8,000 physicians and staff of medical practices and hospitals between April 2013 and July 2013.

“The high ranking is significant because Black Book surveys providers and staff who use hundreds of different EHR systems. We ranked higher than a number of other ambulatory EHRs with a much larger customer base. We are particularly pleased with these scores because they highlight our strengths of having a highly trained staff that works closely with customers to achieve a prompt deployment,” said Zubin Emsley, chief executive officer, ChartLogic.

ChartLogic’s EHR is specifically designed for specialist physicians and has an excellent reputation in the community of high-volume medical groups. The EHR has received ONC 2014 edition modular certification through the Drummond Group, which is required for meaningful use Stage 2. The company has applied for full or “complete EHR” certification under ONC 2014 criteria and expects to receive it later this year.

ChartLogic serves more than 2,000 physicians nationwide and was the first vendor in the nation to certify for meaningful use Stage 1 in 2010. More than 300 ChartLogic customers have qualified to date for meaningful use Stage 1 incentives, one of the higher rates among specialist EHR systems.
